You would think that he would tell Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) about the paternity truth bomb before proposing. So, why did he do the opposite? There is a reason for that and it actually makes sense.

B&B spoilers reveal that Steffy probably wasn’t leaving for Paris to protect Finn. It seems more likely that she was running away. She does love Finn, but sometimes past hurts can make people scared that it’s going to happen again. It not only causes them to run away, but to sabotage the relationship. This might have been the real reason she slept with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).

When Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) told Finn about Steffy’s plan, the doctor rushed to stop her. He found her at the cliffhouse and begged her to reconsider. She emotionally shared the reason why she was leaving for Paris. Steffy also stated that she didn’t want Finn trying to stop her, which is why Ridge wasn’t supposed to say anything. Then Steffy got a shock when Finn basically told her to hush up and let him talk. That’s when he proposed marriage to her.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Why Not Share Paternity Truth First?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that the whole time Finn and Steffy have been together, there has been one complication after another. First was the motorcycle accident, then the pain pill addiction. After she got out of rehab, there was Liam’s jealousy, then the cheating. Finally, we have the pregnancy and paternity storylines. Now she’s leaving for Paris! One thing that has been made clear is that Steffy is a bit insecure about Finn’s love. She fears that he’s going to leave just as Liam did. Knowing this, Finn wanted to make sure Steffy knew that he would marry her whether the baby belonged to him, Liam, or the Easter Bunny.

We are pretty sure that Steffy agrees to marry Finn. She is also overjoyed to find out that the baby doesn’t belong to Liam. She’s not even concerned about Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) getting punished. As far as she’s concerned, that’s Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) department. All Steffy is focused on is Finn, their baby, and planning a wedding!
