British royal family news shows that the Princess Diana’s statue memorial was unveiled to the public on July 1 in Kensington Gardens. It would have been her 60th birthday if the former royal had lived beyond the age of 36. She died from the injuries she incurred in a Paris car crash and the fallen but still popular ex royal was immediately dubbed, The People’s Princess.
On Thursday her immediate family attended a mostly solemn unveiling of the memorial at the Sunken Garden in Kensington Palace. Her outspoken brother, Earl Spencer, and her sisters Lady Jane Fellowes and Lady Sarah McCorquodale were among the handful of guests present.
But all eyes were on her warring sons, William Duke of Cambridge and Harry Duke of Sussex before, during and after they pulled down the tarp that concealed their late mother’s likeness.

After the family reunion of sorts Charles tweeted two photos together with the caption: “Today, in Kensington. A good day.”
A mere 16 persons were allowed in, including Diana’s sons. Previously they had issued a joint statement and neither made a speech. It was a low key affair, and everyone was on their p’s and q’s, aware that the whole world would be watching not at the statue per se, but at the stubborn brothers.

Royal Family News – No One Acted Up At The Unveiling
Neither William nor Harry spoke formally at the ceremony although they chatted with Charles and their aunts Lady Jane Fellowes and Lady Sarah McCorquodale. It was left then to Charles to make a statement to sum up the day.
Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine, the 9th Earl Spencer said, “When I look at all these newspapers going berserk again and I’ve always found it so hard, I think it’s because I’m not very imaginative, but I always see things in terms of family.”
“And I remember when I was a boy and Diana became Princess of Wales, I just sort of ploughed along on the same path. You separate the media personality from the real person who’s a member of your family, and that’s all that matters at the end of the day.”

Was he making a sly point about the reported royal rift between William and Harry? Numerous royal watchers speculated as to how Diana would have felt about and dealt with their cold war. Some think she would have decreed they make up, many have commented on the heartbreak she surely would have felt. Sadly, the world will never know as she died far too young, her whole life in front of her.

I think if princess Diana were still here today there would not be the family rift that there is
I think there would be a rift still as Diana would not have wanted to see how Meghan has been personified and vilified in the press she knew well how the firm helps the information train. Diana was also inclusive of all people of all backgrounds. So I’m pretty sure given her experience in the Royal family she would know best what was going on.

The brother is the one who set up her disasterous BBC interview.
I think there would have been no Megan in the family. She would have been found out by Diana before she got her hooks into Harry. Her and Harry have both been proven to be liars so why would you believe anything either has to say. Diana would be so disappointed in Harry. I’m just trying to figure out if Harry is really so gullible or if there is an actual mental Libility.
Meghan is all for herself and frankly they can’t seem to stay out of the limelight which they find so distasteful
H & M say they want an independent, quiet life, right? If that’s really what they want, then why do they have people to create drama and continually keep the media stirred. They should not have any outside employees, only to maintain their residence. They should be finding good paying jobs just like everybody else. Oh but that’s right she graduated college and considers herself an actress but any other skills that are honest and moral. Yet H barely finished school and didn’t go to college but with Grandma’s help into the military. He should have stayed in the military and kept his pants zipped.
Yes there is a mental flaw . We all have it after a crushing surprise death. The age Harry was when his mother died is a particularly vulnerable one. They take the separation ( death, divorce) personally. They blame them selves: I wasn’t good enough, she didn’t love me, no one cares, etc.
Immediate counciling would have been demanded!!! In stead they used the good old British stiff upper lip crap!
Yes her dad she doesn't speak to put her through college. I sure hope her kids do her the same way she's doing her dad. KARMA
