The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jack’s Drunken Regret, Tries Taking Back Love Confession

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jack’s Drunken Regret, Tries Taking Back Love ConfessionThe Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) tells Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) that he loves her. The admission comes at a time when Jack is feeling very lonely. He’s in a huge house and it’s completely empty. Add some alcohol and the result is regret. Jack tries to take back his words to Phyllis, but that’s easier said than done.

    Sally Spectra Heartache

Y&R spoilers reveal that Jack gave Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) two chances. Although he truly cared for her, Sally’s schemes directly affected the Abbott family. Jack also realized that he’s too old to be dealing with Sally’s issues and mind games. Even so, the split had an impact on him and despite acting as if he’s okay, Jack is still experiencing heartache from it.

    Y&R Spoilers: He’s All Alone

After finding out what Sally had done to Summer Newman (Hunter King), everyone else left. Now Jack is all alone and living in a huge, empty house is a reminder of that. Jack was always able to say at least he still had Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). However, Kyle decided to go to Milan to be with Summer. For a short time, Jack was able to enjoy spending time with Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez), but now he’s gone as well.

    Drunken Love Confession

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Jack is feeling very lonely and wondering if it’s a preview to the rest of his life. After having a few drinks, Phyllis comes over and that is when Jack blurts out the love confession. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Bergman explained that Jack thinks back on the last time he was truly in love and that was with Phyllis. Jack and Phyllis never stopped loving each other, the actor said. It was just too painful for them to be together.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Regret and Reversal

After Jack sobers up, he realizes what he has done. He regrets telling Phyllis that he still loves her. He tries to take back his words but it is too late. Bergman teased that his drunken love admission will complicate the dynamic between Jack, Phyllis and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

“… because he’s tipsy, he doesn’t drop the subject and says, ‘No, it’s the truth. I’ve never fallen out of love with you.’ Then Jack adds, ‘You can’t be surprised’ and she doesn’t know what to say because she truly is surprised. Jack will soon learn that telling Phyllis how he feels will be a very difficult bell to unring.”

Co-executive producer and head writer Josh Griffith previously told SOD that the admission will create some surprising challenges for Jack, Phyllis and Nick. So, we will have to keep watching to see how this storyline plays out.

    4. Phyllis is aware of Jack's feeling for her and that is why she is all ways around. Rather her with Jack than Nick, that way Nick will see her for what she really is. and he can focus on getting Sharon back, the love of his life.

    5. sorry but I don't want Nick to take back Sharon, he always cheats and besides she
is married to Rey and behind the scenes she is engaged to Mark Grossman as 'Adam'

    6. Phyllis protects Jack and she knows that Sally was trouble from day one since
she came to GC and she'll protect anyone that crosses her path and Jack
      thanks her even Nick.

    7. you should be happy, he blurted out that he was just drunk and don't remember
what he said so he'll text her to say sorry and doesn't want to break up her
      relationship with Nick.

    8. When it comes to Nick, all Phyllis has to do is take him up stairs and she knows it. Lately she can not stay away from Jack, Phyllis is just plain no good.

    9. This should become interesting, Phyllis still loves Jack to. Remember you had her she cheated with Billy on you then on Billy with Nick. Then while cheating with Nick he was suppose to marry Sharon the next day. What a mess. But will be looking for a lot more lies she tells Nick. He can tell when she is lying she starts laughing, if caught in a lie she heads off to bed with Nick. Nick time for you to wake-up, what will it take. Best thing move from hotel, where you are watched all the time. Move to the country for peace and quiet. You know Phyllis she will tell on herself.
