The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that half of Genoa City, Wisconsin is on the trail of the Locke Ness Monster aka Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), trying to dig up dirt on the business mogul. He’s about to marry Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) who has been around a block or two and is no blushing bride. This isn’t Victoria’s first rodeo but you would think that she is a virginal ingenue given the way her loved ones have taken to trying to expose Ashland on her behalf.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Is Victoria Newman In Too Deep With Ashland Locke?
Explosive Y&R show spoilers reveal that Ashland has something to hide, but it may not be Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) or Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) who topple Ashland’s world.
Each of these men have their own reason to want to protect Victoria, thus their collaborative investigative into her intended. Billy is her ex and baby daddy, Nick is her brother and Victor is her dad. In addition to Victor being protective of his daughter, he realizes that Ashland could be in a position to ruin his empire if he marries Victoria and double crosses her.

Already the men have turned up some shade, mainly that Ashland seems to have begun his march to the top by possibly taking advantage of a woman from his past. Presented with this evidence, Victoria confronted Ashland who denied any wrongdoing.
He claims he is as pure as the wind driven snow, and oh by the way, supposedly terminal. Ashland has told everyone that he has a deadly illness, but is he playing Victoria for a fool?

Victoria has wretched taste in men, hence her loved ones’ concern. But Victoria has turned a corner in the wisdom department after running Newman Enterprises on her own. She has made solid business decisions and is smarter than she is being given credit for.
Fans believe that the wedding will not happen, but could it be Victoria herself who turns the tables on the groom? Soap weddings are known for going sideways and it will surprise no one if Ashland is humiliated at the altar. What are the chances that Victoria herself is the one to expose Ashland as a fraud and a phony?

I don't like the idea of any character faking a serious illness, it's just nasty. Why would someone as rich and classy as Ashland to something as cheap and tacky as fake Cancer, even in the business world that would probably alienate many people who would do business with a person. He is supposed to be a wealthy respected business man, not a cheap con artist. It doesn't make sense.
Sally did the same thing on B&B to try and hold onto Wyatt !!!! I cannot stand Sally !!!
I think Ashland has fooled some people but not all. If the man is dying he looks healthier than most.
I don't like her either, the character is too similar to Phyllis. I would rather the writers came up with an original character. I hate all the lies and snooping, it's not believable such a close community of people would tolerate her, especially after what she has done to their relatives.
