It looks like someone might have an edge over the other dancers already! There are new reports that say actor James Van Der Beek has already managed to impress his partner with his fancy footwork ahead of Dancing With The Stars Season 28. Could we have a possible front-runner here already? That’s what a lot of fans want to know.

According to James’ partner and dance teacher his dance skills are blossoming already! The official Instagram account for Dancing With the Stars shared a photo of James dancing with a female figure that looked like cherry blossoms. Talk about a cheeky way of saying things, right? Ha!

This will be the first time that James Van Der Beek will be competing on a reality competition show. Before James became a household name thanks to both Dawson’s Creek and One Tree Hill, he was a daytime television vet. He appeared on both Guiding Light and As The World Turns as his character Stephen Anderson back in 1995.

Dancing With The Stars Season 28 Spoilers – Includes An All-Star Lineup

In addition to James Van Der Beek, this season will also include Christie Brinkley, Lamar Odom, ‘Bachelorette’ Hannah Brown, ‘Fifth Harmony’ member Ally Brooke, ‘Queer Eye’ star Karamo Brown, The Office’s Kate Flannery, ‘All That’ star Kel Mitchell, American Idol runner-up Lauren Alaina, The Supremes member Mary Wilson, NFL linebacker Ray Lewis and President Donald Trump’s former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer. The lineup was announced on Good Morning America.

In addition, judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Ibara are all expected to return along with two new dancers: husband and wife team Pasha Pashkov and Daniella Karagach.

They will be featured in some of the group performances and will also be ready as stand-ins for the other pro dancers, should someone have to bow out of the show because of an injury.
