Bold and the Beautiful News: Katherine Kelly Lang Teases Brooke Logan’s Future

Katherine Kelly Lang shares a few hints on what’s next for her character Brooke Logan in “The Bold and the Beautiful.” Talking about Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), she said her alter ego, in a way, knew that Thomas would bring nothing but trouble.
Although Brooke has had her own share of bad marriages, she’s definitely not wrong about Thomas. Her instincts, at this point, were right all along.
“I think she’s been through so much, she must have learned something in terms of what not to do,” Lang told CBS Soaps In Depth. Unfortunately, Hope didn’t listen to her and married the guy, instead. But it wasn’t just Hope who didn’t see Thomas’ dark side and that includes Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

“She’s had a funny feeling about Thomas, and she was just trying to protect her daughter. Frankly, she was surprised that not everybody had the same funny feeling about him,” she added.
Viewers know that Thomas is a sleazeball but Ridge isn’t of that opinion. Brooke and Ridge’s difference in opinion has negatively affected their marriage. Brooke may not be happy about how things are going with Thomas and Ridge but Lang thinks otherwise.
The actress said, “this is a family issue, and that makes it different. With a big blended family, you have to try to make everybody happy, but it doesn’t always work that way.”
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Lang No Longer Wants Brooke To Be Civil
Lang is optimistic that Brooke’s marriage will survive this conundrum. She explained that Ridge and Brooke love each other, and they may not be seeing eye to eye about Thomas, but they’ll eventually come back together. “They have the freedom to fight because they know how much they mean to each other,” she teased.
Meanwhile, Lang wants more action from her character. “I’m bored with Brooke being ‘civil,’” she said. “I want some excitement! Brooke has lately been a good wife and mom, and though she and Ridge have had their little spats here and there, I would love to see a little bit more craziness in her life!”

Lang also welcomed the return of Hunter Tylo, who plays Taylor Hayes. Viewers may remember that Taylor kissed Ridge, a scene many fans enjoyed. In fact, a lot of them want to see more of those between Taylor and Ridge. Aside from that, some fans blasted Brooke for not getting Hope the help she deserved. However, Lang quickly defended her character and said jokingly that it may have something to do with her past with Taylor. “Brooke’s probably thinking, ‘Well, if all therapists are like Taylor, then we’re in trouble!’”
