No, they weren’t having an all-out fight behind the scenes. Royal Family News says that there was another reason as to why Prince William and Kate Middleton arrived late at King Charles’ coronation on Saturday morning. Apparently they were just like any other normal family struggling to get out of the front door on time. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Royal Family News – Prince William And Kate Middleton Were Late To The Coronation Because Of This Reason

Apparently, the Prince and Princess of Wales had a hard time getting out the front door because of their two children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

While no one knows what the exact details are, it’s thought that someone was probably having a hard time getting ready for the coronation. That, or they probably didn’t want to go to the coronation at all.

Any kid in Charlotte and Louis’ position would certainly rather stay home on a Saturday morning and watch YouTube videos, right?

Royal author Omid Scobie put it this way to Harper’s Bazaar, “In fact, apart from Prince William and Princess Kate joining the procession late (children were to blame, a source tells me), and Camilla’s ladies in attendance – sister Annabel Elliot, and queen’s companion the Marchioness of Lansdowne – accidentally creating an unfortunate wedgie moment out of her silk Bruce Oldfield dress on the way into the Abbey, very few hitches took place.”

Previously, it was thought that Prince William and Kate Middleton had an argument, simply because they looked like they didn’t want to be anywhere near one another when they arrived at Westminster Abbey.

Clearly, that assumption was wrong. While they might be the future king and queen of England, it seems like William and Kate certainly do deal with the same problems that many parents deal with on a daily basis. There’s only so much that the nannies can do before your royal parents are forced to step in, right?
