Twitter Blue Meltdowns After Elon Musk Appoints New CEO

Twitter got a lot of headlines when Elon Musk purchased the social media platform but now folks who paid for their blue ticks are having meltdowns. Admittedly, not all of them, but many of them are. Why do they object so much to the new CEO of the company?

Twitter Blue Ticks Are Now Paid For

Plenty of celebrities and well-known faces disappeared from the platform when Elon Musk purchased the company. Others who hate the version of free speech that Elon allows, remain and slam him for not having enough censorship.

Actually, there are still some big names out there that turn out to be quite good at trolling. Meanwhile, plenty of people who worked hard for their blue ticks also grew angry that anyone who verifies themselves can now pay $8 for their coveted blue status

Twitter and Elon have often been controversial, but at the moment, there is a lot of anger. There is a lot of fear that AI will kill creators. So, many people got excited to discover that the new blue-ticked accounts can post original uncensored content and earn off it.

Plus, they can edit and post longer stories and videos. Basically, it gives people a platform that isn’t WordPress based, where they can still earn off their talent. So, the new CEO literally frightens many people.

Twitter Owner Elon Musk Announces A New CEO

On Friday, Elon Musk took to his own account and said that he can’t wait to announce that he hired a new CEO and she starts working in about “6 weeks.” Well, it was no surprise that he found one because it’s been discussed on the platform for a while.

Rumors started up that many people would not be happy with the person appointed. Actually, a French outlet confirmed the appointment of the new CEO before Elon did. Later, Twitter members saw a new tweet that replied to Elon’s original announcement, which made many people who signed up for their blue tick have a meltdown:

    Elon Musk Appoints Linda Yaccarino

Angry that they bought into free speech that Elon parroted, many people, feel duped because they were tempted to pay for a blue tick. Possibly, they felt that for once, it was worth investing some money to help it be a place where they would not be shadow-banned for saying anything contrary to the mainstream narrative.

Why The Meltdown Reactions To Linda Yaccarino?

Twitter followers found out that Linda Taccarino worked for the World Economic Forum. Well, they don’t employ people without talent and intelligence. So, why the anger about it? One obvious reason that emerges is that she was very pro masks and lockdowns. Actually, other things about the World Economic Forum make many people nervous. Klaus Schwaab and George Soros are not holding back on their ideas for the Great Reset, and people don’t particularly like the idea of being told to eat insects, not travel, and behave.

Here are a few reactions that reveal a lot of meltdowns happened.

Amongst the replies, Elon tweeted again, saying, “I hear your concerns, but don’t judge too early. I am adamant about defending free speech, even if it means losing money.”

Additionally, not everyone had a meltdown. Many people are willing to give Linda a chance. After all, she will probably be good for marketing and might bring back advertisers.
