Hallmark Reveals Countdown To Christmas & Miracles Of Christmas 2023

Hallmark fans, did this year just fly by? We only recently watched summer movies and are now watching movies relating to the fall. Despite this, Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries have announced their lineup for the Countdown to Christmas and Miracles of Christmas programming events respectively. Read on for a brief introduction to the festive, holiday movies for 2023, starting on October 20. The full program of movies is listed in date order.

Christmas lineup for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

1. Checkin’ It Twice

Starring: Kim Matula and Kevin McGarry

Premiere date: Friday, October 20 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

Plot: A real estate agent (Matula) is in the midst of a career crisis and returns to her hometown. Meanwhile, a journeyman hockey player is traded to her hometown and moves into the cottage of her hockey fan family’s backyard.

2. Where Are You, Christmas?

Starring: Lyndsy Fonseca, Michael Rady, Jim O’Heir, Julie Warner

Premiere date: Saturday, October 21 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

Plot: Addy wishes for a year without Christmas and wakes up in a black-and-white world. She decides to team up with the town mechanic to restore Christmas.

3. Under the Christmas Sky

Starring: Jessica Parker Kennedy, Ryan Paevey

Premiere date: Sunday, October 22 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

Plot: Kat is an esteemed astrophysicist and is scheduled for her first trip into space. However, this gets sidelined due to an accident. Meanwhile, she meets a new man at the local planetarium and they work hard together to open a new exhibit by Christmas.

4. Christmas Comes to Town

Starring: Erica Durance, Brennan Elliott, Barbara Niven

Premiere date: Thursday, October 26 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

Plot: When a shopping channel host named Ms. Christmas gets a terminal diagnosis, she heads out on a multi-city tour to spread the cheer of Christmas.

5. Christmas by Design

Starring: Rebecca Dalton, Jonathan Keltz

Premiere date: Friday, October 27 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

Plot: A fashion designer is accepted into a Christmas challenge to design a new holiday-themed collection. Through this, she not only finds the inspiration for her next fashion line but also decides to look closer at what is most important in life. Read more about the movie here.

6. Mystic Christmas

Starring: Jessy Schram, Chandler Massey, Patti Murin, William R. Moses

Premiere date: Saturday, October 28 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

Plot: During the holidays, a woman reconnects with the owner of the Mystic, Connecticut pizza shop, while working at the rehabilitation center and the aquarium.

7. Joyeux Noel

Starring: Jaicy Elliot, Brant Daugherty

Premiere date: Sunday, October 29 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

Plot: A reporter and a copy editor head to France to learn about a mysterious artist behind a romantic Christmas painting.

Premiere date: Thursday, November 2 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

Plot: After losing his eyesight, a college professor teams up with a guide dog trainer and adopts a seeing-eye dog.

9. Flipping for Christmas

Starring: Ashley Newbrough, Marcus Rosner

Premiere date: Friday, November 3 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

Plot:  Shortly before Christmas, a realtor agrees to help her sister with what she believes will be an easy flip of an inherited home. However, problems arise when the co-beneficiary has a different idea. Read more about the movie here.

10. Never Been Chris’d

Starring: Janel Parrish, Pascal Lamothe-Kipnes, Tyler Hynes

Premiere date: Saturday, November at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

Plot: Three best friends decide to participate in the annual Santa Summit, where everyone restaurant and bar hops wearing Santa suits.

12. Mystery on Mistletoe Lane

Starring: Erica Cerra, Victor Webster

Premiere date: Thursday, November 9 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

Plot: When a woman and her children move to a new town they discover a Christmas mystery with the help of a local handyman.

13. Everything Christmas

Starring: Katherine Barrell, Cindy Busby, Corey Sevier, Matt Wells

Premiere date: Friday, November 10 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

Plot: A Christmas lover and her roommate head out to Yuletide Springs on a longtime tradition to honor her late grandmother. They end up meeting two men along the way. Read more about the movie here.

14. Christmas Island

Starring: Rachel Skarsten, Andrew Walker

Premiere date: Saturday, November 11 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

Plot: Kate is on her first private flight, heading to Christmas Island in Switzerland when the plane gets diverted by a snowstorm. She teams up with an air traffic controller to help her land her dream job.

15. A Heidelberg Holiday

Starring: Ginna Claire Mason, Frédéric Brossier

Premiere date: Sunday, November 12 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

Plot: Heidi is a glass ornament maker who heads to Germany to sell her wares at the prestigious Heidelberg Christmas Market in Germany. However, during the trip, she meets a local artisan, Lukas, who helps her to reconnect with her lost heritage.

16. A World Record Christmas

Starring: Nikki DeLoach, Lucas Bryant, Aias Dalman

Premiere date: Thursday, November 16, 8 pm ET on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

Plot: Eric and Marissa encourage their young autistic son whose aim is to set a Guinness World Record. He finally gets the chance to do so on Christmas Eve. Find out more about the movie here.

Premiere date: Friday, November 17 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

18. A Merry Scottish Christmas

Premiere date: Saturday, November 18 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

19. Holiday Hotline

Starring: Emily Tennant, Niall Matter

Premiere date: Sunday, November 19 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

20. A Season for Family

Premiere date: Wednesday, November 22 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

Starring: Sara Canning, Warren Christie

Premiere date: Friday, November 24 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

Plot: A devoted mother, a tech entrepreneur and a travel writer are stranded at the airport with other strangers over the holidays. They decide to rent a van to take an unexpected road trip. Apparently, the movie was inspired by true events. Read more about the movie here.

24. Christmas in Notting Hill

Starring: Sarah Ramos, William Moseley

Premiere date: Saturday, November 25 at 6 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

Plot: A famous soccer star is usually too busy for love, but his life changes when he returns home to Notting Hill for Christmas. There, he meets a visiting woman who doesn’t know who he is. Read more about the movie here.

25. Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up

Starring: Lacey Chabert, Wes Brown, Stephen Tobolowsky, Melissa Peterman, Ellen Travolta, Seth Morris, Jennifer Aspen

Plot: In this sequel to last year’s popular movie, Haul Out the Holly, Emily and Jared are looking forward to spending the holidays together as a couple. This is despite the new residents moving in on Evergreen Lane.

26. Our Christmas Mural

Starring: Alex Paxton-Beesley, Dan Jeannotte

Premiere date: Sunday, November 26 at 6 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

27. A Biltmore Christmas

Starring: Bethany Joy Lenz, Kristoffer Polaha, Jonathan Frakes, Robert Picardo

Premiere date: Sunday, November 26 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

Plot:  Lucy Hardgrove is a screenwriter who lands her dream job of writing a remake of a beloved holiday movie classic, filmed at the historic Biltmore House in 1947. Plot: JJ is grieving the loss of her grandmother and jumps at the chance to join a new friend, Henrik, on a journey to Norway. While there, she discovers her grandmother’s history and investigates how she landed a troll figurine from his hometown.

30. A Not So Royal Christmas

Starring: Brooke D’Orsay, Will Kemp

Premiere date: Saturday, December 2 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

Plot: This new Mahogany movie follows a woman who returns home for her family’s Christmas Carnival. While there, she unexpectedly connects with a photojournalist.

Plot: A small-town photographer saves a man’s life, but learns he is in town to buy her family’s parkland, where the annual Christmas celebration is held.

33. Magic in Mistletoe

Starring: Lyndie Greenwood, Paul Campbell

Premiere date: Friday, December 8 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel

Plot: A successful but reclusive author returns to his hometown for a Christmas festival, where he has to face his publicist for damage control.

34. Miracle in Bethlehem, PA

Starring: Laura Vandervoort, Benjamin Ayres

Premiere date: Thursday, December 21 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
