Harris Michaels’ Introduction
DOOL spoilers reveal that Burton recently celebrated one year of being in the Peacock soap opera. Harris was one of Megan Hathaway DiMera’s (Miranda Wilson) victims.
Harris then got wrapped up in the story of Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) shooting Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) in a misguided attempt to protect Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso).
DOOL Spoilers: Ava Vitali’s Romance
Then, Harris ended up in Bayview with Ava and Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva). Harris and Ava eventually saved Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) before becoming a couple. Unfortunately, Clyde Weston (James Read) ruined Ava and Harris’ romance.
Ava broke up with Harris, who doesn’t understand the real reason. Harris still has feelings for Ava and his gut tells him that something is amiss with the breakup.

At the same time, Harris is furious that he’s not getting concrete answers from Ava and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash).
Salem’s Drug Crisis
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that head writer Ron Carlivati previously told Soap Opera Digest magazine that Harris and Ava would have a Batman and Catwoman type of story.
So, at some point, it seems that Ava and Harris get back together, but in a very complicated way considering the drug storyline.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Steve Burton Exits DOOL
A video of Steve Burton confirming his DOOL exit was posted on YouTube. In that brief video clip, Burton talks about filming his final scene at the soap.
Burton also expresses his gratitude for the opportunity. The drug storyline is just kicking off and the soap films several months in advance, so Harris will still be seen for a while longer.
In the meantime, how will Harris exit? Will Harris die in the line of duty? Will Ava be responsible for Harris’ death? Or could Harris end up taking an opportunity in another city?

I am surprised by Steve’s exit from DAYS. I was getting used to seeing Steve’s character Harris as a cop in Salem. As a long time fan of Steve’s I was thrilled that even though he wasn’t on GH he was on my other show (DAYS) I hate that his stay at DAYS was so short. Now I can only hope, wish and dream that GH will bring him back to Port Charles as our beloved Jason where he belongs. With all the losses over at GH it would be great if we could have Steve back as Jason.
Really stinks that he’s leaving. He was a great addition to the cast. He brought a different dynamic to DOOL. Very enjoyable to watch him. I don’t understand why DOOL always lets the good ones go. Very disappointing.

Sorry to hear that Harris Michael’s is leaving Days of our Lives. They never seem to keep any of the new characters on this show. Too bad as he had great chemistry with Ava.
I didn’t care for Harris at first, as part of Hope’s storyline, however once they brought him to Salem, and out of Megan’s control, I liked him more. I really liked him and Ava together, and his role as a cop in Salem…Lord knows that they definitely need more police on the force there, with all the bad drug stuff and baby kidnapping going on! I wish Steve the best in his future endeavors, and hopefully the writers left the door open for him to return one day, if Steve would like to.
