According to TV Insider, the Hallmark movie Leah’s Perfect Gift tells the story of Leah, a Jewish girl, who celebrates Hanukah with her family each year, but has always wanted to find out more about the Christmas holidays. She loves everything she has seen about Christmas, especially Christmas trees, decorated with sparkling ornaments.

Moreover, she finds she even enjoys eggnog and loves special Christmas dinners and making gingerbread houses. Most of all, Leah loves how the whole family gets together while having fun and exchanging gifts.

When her boyfriend Graham (Evan Roderick) invites her to his family’s celebration, she is over the moon. Graham’s family lives in Connecticut and she is thrilled to drive off to meet his family.

However, it turns out this Christmas isn’t quite what she was expecting as she meets her boyfriend’s uptight family and his not-so-welcoming mom (Barbara Niven). Meanwhile, despite holiday traditions clashing and awkward moments, Leah does finally enjoy her first Christmas.

Evan Roderick plays her boyfriend, Graham, and is known for his roles in Sealed With a List and Arrow. Barbara Niven plays Graham’s mom and has previously been seen in Chesapeake Shores and North to Home. Meanwhile, Barry W. Levy plays Jonathan Goldberg and has previously starred in Flight 93 and Scary Movie 4.

Robyn Ross plays Suzanne Goldberg and is known for her roles in Riverdale and Law & Order. Moreover, Sidney Quesnelle plays Maddie and has previously starred in The Chicken Sisters and Superman and Lois, while Jade Pattenden plays Maddie’s ex-girlfriend and is known for Nancy Drew and School Spirits.

When will Leah’s Perfect Gift premiere on Hallmark Channel?

Leah’s Perfect Gift will premiere on Sunday, December 8, at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel, as part of the network’s Countdown to Christmas programming event. The rom-com will also stream on Peacock up to 72 hours after the premiere.
