Jack Wagner Filming When Calls The Heart

On Instagram, Wagner (Bill Avery) wrote that he was beyond grateful and shared his love for everyone. He confirmed that he was at the airport to head to Vancouver to begin filming When Calls The Heart season 8. He wrote,

“Heading to start S8 of “When Calls the Heart” beyond Grateful. Please be safe & take care. Sending a Ton of Love to all!!”

WCTH News – WCTH Season 8 Update

Just last week, Eric Krakow (Elizabeth Thatcher) gave ET an update on going back to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to film. They have strict protective measures in place, which include everyone’s self-quarantining for 14 days upon arrival. Regular temperature checks, periodic testing, health screening, social distancing, and masks are all part of the requirements to keep the cast and crew safe.

Safety Protocol

In fact, the actress explained how different it is to film after the COVID-19 pandemic shut everything down. She said,

“We’re operating in pods, [meaning] teams of people generally in the same department, and will be working to avoid crossover between them as much as possible. We’re aiming to film scenes outdoors as much as possible. And yes, masks for everyone but the actors in scenes.”
