Bold and the Beautiful Recap Friday October 25: Hope Fights For Douglas, Brooke Takes Off Her Wedding Ring

On the Friday, October 25, 2019, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, the Logans and Forresters go head-to-head over custody of Douglas Forrester (Henry Josephi Samiri). Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) believes that the child will be most happy with her and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) advises Hope to focus on taking care of Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) instead of punishing Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Ridge compares the situation to Hope reclaiming her right to take Beth from Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) catches up with Eric Forrester (John McCook) at Forrester Creations. She is stunned to learn that Ridge and Thomas left to take Douglas home. Eric defends Thomas’ paternal rights, but hates how much it’s hurting Hope. Donna believes that bonding with Douglas saved Hope when she was grieving the “death” of her baby. Eric and Donna worry that the tension over Douglas will be too much for Ridge and Brooke’s marriage to withstand.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Liam Spencer Tries To Be Voice Of Reason
Liam tries to be the voice of reason: allow Douglas to stay where he feels safe while the adults figure out his future. Hope pleads with Thomas not to make her go through the pain of losing a child again.
Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) lays down the law: Douglas is not leaving the house with Thomas. Ridge accuses Brooke of undermining his son. Ridge says that Thomas, Douglas, and Ridge will all move in with Eric—four generations of Forrester men under one roof.
As Thomas leaves to pick up Douglas, Brooke lunges at him and he reminds her what happened the last time she pushed him. Brooke accuses Ridge of being cruel by failing to protect Douglas from his dangerous father. She realizes that her husband doesn’t see her as a Forrester, as his family.

He’s just like his mother, believing that no slut from the valley is worthy of raising a Forrester. Ridge hasn’t gotten Thomas the help he needs but has given him everything he wants. Ridge is so blinded by his son that he can’t see she’s trying to protect the family.

Brooke angrily gives Ridge his wedding ring back. He’s not capable of loving and cherishing her above all else. Ridge says that Brooke is not capable of forgiveness.
Thomas tells Douglas that it’s time for him to live with his dad again. He promises that he’ll be the father that Douglas needs him to be. He was wrong to keep the secret and Douglas helped him realize that. Thomas is pleasantly surprised when Douglas hugs him and tells him he misses him. Douglas and Hope share a tearful goodbye. I would say Brooke is the unstable and hateful one. Has Brooke ever considered Steffy and Thomas family, no? If she wants a family for her and Hope, call Deacon. That is her family for her and Hope.

Brooke shouldn’t have pushed the custody issue. Brooke’s past relationships have no bearing on the way thomas has treated that child. He doesn’t deserve the child and is a danger to him. Agree, it is lazy writing again. You can see a web of conflict forming but Bell never does the groundwork to make it believable.

Yeah that’s something Brooke and Steffy have in common, sleeping their way through families of men.
All I can say is boo hoo to Hope, now she knows how Steffy feels and has far as Douglas goes he will be around his great grandparents and his grandfather, plus also aunt Steffy and Pam. Brooke act like Douglas has no ones but Thomas which is a pretty shallow view , it looks like it time for her and Hope to get a Reality check that the world don’t revolve around them.

What in the whole-wide world would give Hope and Brooke any idea that they have a right to custody of Douglas anymore than Steffy had a right to Beth. These writers are sick, sick, sick in the head. They must get their jollies writing chaos for people’s lives.
