Days of Our Lives comings and goings indicate that there’s one heck of a shakeup happening behind the scenes over at the highly-rated NBC soap, which has a lot of long-time fans wondering what’s in store for the future. As a matter of fact, four major characters are exiting Salem, prompting a lot of speculation as to what’s next for our favorite characters in this very dramatic town. Here’s what you need to know.
It wasn’t too long ago that the producers of Days of Our Lives managed to shock the daytime television world by announcing that the entire cast would be let go from their contracts. While there was some speculation that the announcement meant Days would soon be over, the NBC network assured fans that the soap wouldn’t be going anywhere, anytime soon. However, this hasn’t stopped the show’s execs from putting some of their stars on the chopping block one by one, too.
Days of Our Live Spoilers – Galen Gering Leaving DOOL
The first casualty happened to be actor Galen Gering, who has spent the last ten years playing Rafe Hernandez. Galen made it clear on social media that he was just as shocked over the announcement as his fans were. Right after it was announced that Galen would be leaving, both Freddie Smith and Chandler Massey revealed that they too would be ending their stints as Sonny Kiriakis and Will Horton on the show.
DOOL Spoilers – Casey Moss Leaving Dool
If that weren’t enough, it didn’t take very long for fans to find out that actor Casey Moss (JJ Deveraux) would be leaving the soap as well. While no one really knows what happened behind the scenes, it’s pretty clear that contract negotiations didn’t go very well for these four actors. With that said, it’s without a doubt that fans will definitely miss seeing all four of these talents on the canvas. Salem certainly won’t be the same without them!

Who will you miss the most?
Not only will all four be missed, but I really miss the DOOL I once looked forward to watching. Since Ron C. took over as head writer no one in Salem has any happiness or lasting relationships, he has ruined this soap and turned it into an unreal sci-fi & horror combo… good going Days Executives, keep Ron C. on the payroll and lose many long time actors along with ,long time fans !!!!!
