Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of January 3 reveal that Sami DiMera (Alison Sweeney) agrees to rebuild her relationship with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo). After being rejected by Sami, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) tries to get Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) back. However, will Nicole forgive EJ or could she refuse to be his “Plan B”?

DOOL spoilers reveal that EJ tries to convince Sami that he’s not guilty and is being framed. EJ is on the right track when he suggests that Lucas is setting him up. However, Sami doesn’t believe him and neither does anyone else. Even Nicole, who trusts that EJ is innocent, thinks Lucas would never kidnap Sami and hold her hostage for months. In the end, Sami rejects EJ and refuses to be with the man who allegedly kidnapped her.

DOOL Spoilers – ‘Lumi’ Reunite

Even though Sami always chose EJ over Lucas, he is willing to be the second choice. All he wants is Sami no matter what he has to do. Lucas does have some pangs of guilt and even asked God for forgiveness. Then, the very next day, Lucas was scheming on how to make sure EJ goes to prison for kidnapping.

After planting evidence implicating EJ, Lucas finally gets what he wants. Sami turns to Lucas and agrees to be with him. “Lumi” not only reunite, but make plans to leave Salem together so they can rebuild their relationship.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that EJ will make a realization after Sami rejects him. EJ will once again think about who has been there for him all this time. It wasn’t Sami, but it was Nicole. Even when EJ was arrested, Nicole believed in his innocence and still does. So, he will backtrack and try to make amends to Nicole.

DOOL Spoilers – Nobody’s Second Choice

During the week of January 3, EJ tries to get back together with Nicole. However, she is frosty to her former flame. Nicole repeatedly asked EJ if he still had feelings for Sami and he always said no. EJ insisted that Sami was his past and Nicole was his future. Then, he blindsided Nicole by saying he was getting back together with his wife.

Now that Sami has rejected EJ, he suddenly wants Nicole back. Nicole isn’t interested in being anyone’s second choice or “Plan B.” So, where does this leave EJ and will Sami find out the truth about Lucas? Interestingly enough, it might be Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) who expose Lucas’ scheme… but not right away.
