ABC General Hospital spoilers reveal that alum Tyler Christopher (Nikolas Cassadine) is back on social media and letting his fans know how he is doing these days; last November he was arrested for public intoxication in Indiana on his 47th birthday.
The former GH actor was charged with public intoxication and was jailed after his arrest. Tyler was placed in the Morgan County Jail in Indiana.
Tyler Christopher played Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital on an off/on the basis for several years before his departure. He was last seen on daytime as Stefan DiMera on NBC’s Days of Our Lives soap opera. In 2016 he won an Outstanding Lead Actor in A Drama Series Emmy for his work as Nikolas and departed the sudser a short time later. At this time Marcus Coloma is playing the part of the Cassadine prince.

Tyler posted this message on his Insta: “Coming back to California. Miss your friends. After a near-death experience in December, doesn’t matter. I’m ready to start over again and get back to work. Can’t wait to see you all!”
Tyler’s selfie is a black and white photo in which he looks healthy and fit. He has an athletic headband on and is flashing the peace sign.
One of his former costars responded with positivity to his post: Maura West who plays Ava Jerome on GH responded with a string of heart emojis.

Tyler’s fans also sent well wishes with one posting, “I am not in Cali but it’s great to see your face! Best wishes on your new adventure!” and another wrote, “Do it, buddy! Love and support from this fan.”
One fan chimed in with: “Being alone can be a good thing…. for awhile. Miss you on GH.”

Back in April, the actor posted this on social media: “The ONE place I don’t have to give a damn about the social distance from Corona or work. My mother’s burial site and the home I grew up in the background. And yes…I grew up in a cemetery. #coronavirus #jimiannbaker #heal.” The actor posted a photo of his mother’s headstone; she passed away in 2016.
Tyler didn’t specify whether he is coming back to California to work or simply to relocate.

Not if they are going to let Marcus go. Christopher left GH on his own because he wanted more money, that was his decision. If they want to bring him back as a new character that would be different. Otherwise let him find a job some where else.
I like the Nicholas we have now! Also I don’t want the actress that plays Jordan to be cut or Brando either. Don’t bring back people from the dead. Leave them that way. Give the new people better & faster story lines. Like Nelle has dragged on forever & gets really boring.

Absolutely not. GH has given him way to many chances..T.C. Left for bigger opportunities 4 times and returned because no one came knocking. In 2016 he left the final time and GH did not pursue him to come back. Then Days took a chance on him in Jan 2018 and he left them for other opportunities in march 2019….all of this is sad really, because he was amazing as Nicholas…
So if you had asked me a year ago I would have wanted Tyler back above anyone else. But truthfully he doesn't really seem to have a lot of loyalty to any job he is on and there's no reason to believe he won't bail again
Absolutely! I have to say, the actor playing Nikolas now is good. I didn’t want a replacement, but this guy is doing a good job. That being said… it would be great to have THE Nikolas back!
Loving the actor who plays Nicholas now … his chemistry with Ava is off the charts. So my answers is definitely not.
Yes. I don't like Marcus Coloma. He is not as good an actor as Tyler Christopher.

I don't see the chemistry you do, but you have a right to your opinion.
In my opinion, the writers and upper chain of command at GH don't have too much loyalty to the actors either as it seems to be a two way door with the actors having the least to say about any situation. Look at what just occurred with Lulu and she didn't ask to go anywhere nor did Laura when she was aburptly let go some time back. There always will be contract differences betwen what actors see as a salary increase or whatever may be involved in contract negotiations, as it is all a part of the business. We as viewers only know what is put out on social media, etc. about any problem a actor may have and will never know the whole truth about any particular circumstance.
