General Hospital spoilers reveal there is no new episode on Friday, December 31. On Monday, January 3, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) looks forward to a new beginning. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) turns to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Plus, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) checks in on a patient while Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) gets tough love.
General Hospital Spoilers – Maxie Jones’ New Beginning
GH spoilers reveal that Maxie has gone through one heck of a year. Even though Maxie will continue to worry about Peter August (Wes Ramsey), she is determined to live her life again. Maxie looks forward to a new beginning in 2022. However, just when Maxie decides to look forward, could the past come back to haunt her and Louise “Lou” August aka “Bailey” Quartermaine (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt)?
GH Spoilers – Turning To Drew Cain
In Monday’s episode, Carly will still be reeling over discovering that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) fell in love with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) in Nixon Falls. Sonny had amnesia at the time and Carly had her own love affair with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). However, Carly is still furious with Sonny and told him not to come home. On Monday, Carly will turn to Drew and blurt out her troubles.
General Hospital Spoilers – Alexis Davis’ Tough Love
General Hospital spoilers for Monday reveal that Alexis will get some tough love from Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel). Alexis is having trouble figuring out what her next chapter looks like, especially regarding work. Alexis was told to apply for a teaching job at the university. However, the background check might be an issue.
While Alexis hopes her luck will change, she will get some tough love from Harmony. Perhaps Alexis will start feeling sorry for herself or think it’s unfair that nobody will give her a chance. Harmony might tell Alexis that she made her choices and must live with the consequences.
GH Spoilers – For Monday
Also on Monday, Victor will go to the hospital to check on a patient. This is most likely Peter, who remains in a coma after being poisoned in prison. Some speculate that Peter might suddenly disappear or he could be killed. In the preview, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) tells Victor he certainly has a lot to celebrate.

Meanwhile, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will make a promise, which could be to Maxie. The truth about Maxie and Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) scheme will eventually come out. However, will there be consequences despite the women having the best intentions?

I think that Nina should decide to leave port Charles for a while so don’t and Carly can figure out what they stand with each other. Otherwise their marriage is doomed. If Jason were around Sonny would have fought for Carly more because of his jealousy for Jason and Carly’s friendship. Now it seems he’s not too concerned, more concerned about Nina than his own WIFE!!!!

Why is Carly so upset over Sonny falling for Nina when she of all people married his best friend and fell in love with him…..even if she thought Sonny was dead. Carly is a 2 faced hypocrite who thinks the world revolves around her.

So tired of Sonny and Nina! Ugh. Sonny needs to be with Carly. And Carly needs to get over herself. She fell in love with Jason and married him! They were a breath away from hitting the sheets! Hypocrit much Carly?! And for godsakes Drew run! Don’t let her get her hooks into you!!

I totally agree. Carly thinks, that all the men in her life, belong to her. There’s jax, Jason, sonny, and Drew, but sonny can’t have anyone else except for Carly

Would love it if the whole show did not revolve around Carly.. There are so many great actors that get so little are time..
Personally, I can take or leave the Carly character. But recently writers are making the character unbearable especially for those viewers who definitely don't care for the character. Carly needs to be toned down a few notches and make her a more likeable character as GH has become the Carly/Sonny/Jason and now Nina show.

Yes she has… the character is so arrogant. Lookin @ all her Christmas stockings hanging on the fire place. I know she is a step mom but raising Ava’s daughter like she doesn’t have a birth mother is not good.
Oh no….Sonny needs fire back in his life….his character has taken a toll without this fire and Carly doesn’t spark it anymore. He has been with her out of loyalty not love It’s killing him.

How in the hell could a trial judge, even during a hearing or inquest or whatever, let Willow (I really hate that name) testify to a conversation that was absolutely "hearsay?!" I realize we're speaking of a soap; the thing is fiction but do we truly have to suspend "reality" to make the show?! It IS insulting the intelligence. They do not have to "dumb it down" for us. No one can testify to hearsay, unless another could testify as an independent witness; whether it was true or not. Please stop assaulting my brain, my IQ and myself!!!!!!!!
Carly and Jason were honest with Sonny. They thought he was dead. Sonny should have been honest about Nina. He didn’t know who he was: he was living as some make believe guy, Mike. Mike was with Nina, not Sonny Corinthos. Carly is not a hypocrite. Sonny lied to Carly’s face about Nina.
