General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) could decide to change her mind about marrying Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). Indeed, some GH fans believe that Anna might come to believe that little Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) deserves to have both her parents together again.

ABC General Hospital Spoilers – Finn Won’t Want Hayden

While it might be intriguing for some to imagine what life for Finn might be like if and when Hayden returns, the truth is that he isn’t likely to ditch Anna for Violet’s mom. GH viewers might recall that Hayden surprised Finn on a number of occasions in a rather unpleasant manner.

For example, Hayden already left Finn at the altar on their wedding day! Not only that, but Hayden was pregnant (with Violet), yet she lied to Finn and made him believe that she’d miscarried. Many GH fans might agree that lying in such a fashion might cause some extreme emotional scars and it’s not likely that Finn would just willy-nilly forgive and forget.

The truth is, many GH fans know that while Finn definitely loved Hayden, she wasn’t someone who could provide Finn with a normal, stable relationship. As it was, Finn and Hayden’s connection was tenuous at best and was subject to all kinds of extreme ups and downs.

Anna knows this. Additionally, and in stark contrast, Anna has generally made herself into a safe space for Finn. He knows that she is a calm bay where can safely anchor himself in the midst of life’s storms. Considering that, why would GH fans even want Hayden back in Finn’s life?

General Hospital Rumors & Spoilers – Anna Is Like a Mom to Violet

General Hospital seems to have a thing for portraying biological parents as the only good and viable caregiver for their children. However, while in general that’s the case, many GH viewers know that step-parents can and do grow to love their step-children.

Sometimes, the step children are better off with the spouse of his or her parent … or even an adoptive parent as is the case with Wiley Cooper-Jones (Erik and Theo Olson) and Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes). Some GH fans might agree that Wiley was objectively better off with Lucas than he ever will be with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and his criminal mafia family, murderous father, mentally unstable mother, etc.

In the same way, many GH fans believe that Violet is much better off with Anna than with Hayden. Hayden is constantly in some kind of trouble. Hayden is on the run, hiding out, afraid all of the time. Who believes Hayden’s lifestyle and circumstances are conducive to a safe and stable environment in which to raise Violet? Anyone? Anna loves Violet and together with Finn, she can provide normalcy, safety, and stability.

General Hospital Comings & Goings – Hayden May or May Not Show Up

The bottom line is that Hayden might come back to Port Charles. Then again, Hayden may not. What’s important is to think about the wellbeing of Violet before even considering whether Finn is still desperately, secretly in love with Hayden. This isn’t a long, drawn out, overly dramatic, roll your eyes, child custody case ala Wiley, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), and Michael Corinthos. There’s literally no comparison.

Here there is a clear choice between the chaos of Hayden’s life … and the security and protection provided by a former member of the World Security Bureau and a financially secure, responsible surgeon. Knowing all of the above, there’s no way Anna will call off a marriage to the man she loves.
