Get Ready For Hallmark’s Countdown To Summer In May 2024

Spring is already nearly over and temperatures are about to climb as Hallmark Channel premieres four new movies as part of its Countdown to Summer programming event.

Viewers will enjoy new movies starring several of their favorite actors, including Cindy Busby, Ben Hollingsworth, Stephen Huszar and WCTH star, Kavan Smith. Meanwhile, each movie will air at 8 pm ET/PT.

A Lifelong Love

Plot: Annika (Andrea Brooks) decides to reunite her grandfather with his lost love. However, the only way she can do this is to team up with her former boyfriend, Ryan (Patch May) to write a book about the experience and document different love stories along the way.

A Whitewater Romance

Premieres: Saturday, May 11

Stars: Cindy Busby and Benjamin Hollingsworth

Plot: Maya (Cindy Busby) attends an exclusive business retreat in the Rocky Mountains and ends up being rivals with Matt (Ben Hollingsworth), who is also attending. While they are forced to pair up, rivalry was dropped as an unlikely relationship starts to grow, from competitors to lovers.

Everything Puppies

Premieres: Saturday, May 18

Stars: Pascal Lamothe-Kipnes and Stephen Huszar

Plot: Scarlett (Pascal Lamothe-Kipnes) is an entrepreneur and inventor, looking to make it in the big time with innovative dog toys and treats. With the support of a handsome client, Alex (Stephen Huszar) she finds success and love along the way. Needless to say, viewers will also see plenty of cute puppies in the movie.

Big Sky River: The Bridal Path

Premieres: Saturday, May 25

Stars: Emmanuelle Vaugier and Kavan Smith

Plot: This movie previously aired on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, but now that the network has renamed to Hallmark Mystery, any non-mystery movies are airing on Hallmark Channel. Big Sky River: The Bridal Path is a sequel to 2022’s Big Sky River and reveals Tara (Emmanuelle Vaugier), now settled in Montana and dating Cowboy Boone (WCTH’s Kavan Smith).

As they work to bring their families lives together, tensions arise and the pair finds blending families is more of a challenge than they anticipated.
