British Royal family news reveals per a royal historian, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex’s memoir may prove to be the very last straw that the royal family can take from him. The source claimed that with the pressure which will be put on Harry to deliver in his memoir, it may find him spilling details that could possibly put him largely at odds with his family. But of course, all this depends on how far the 37-year-old Duke of Sussex is willing to go for money.

In July, Prince Harry announced that he is working on “an intimate and heartfelt memoir” which will represent his whole life story.

The Duke hasn’t revealed much about his upcoming memoir except that the first could be expected to drop in 2022. Reportedly, the memoir is split in parts, and one of them is not to be released until the Queen’s death.

For someone who found freedom away from his family, he sure isn’t letting his family have their freedom from him. But of course, we mustn’t sneeze at charity, and according to a press release, all the proceeds made from the sales of the book will be going to charity. Harry’s complete and “honest” account of his life will be published by Penguin Random House U.K. Royal commenters are speculating that the memoir will shed a further light on his and his wife Meghan’s exit from royal life.

Not much of what the book may explore is known, but one thing’s for sure, it will give a complete account of Prince Harry’s “highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned”. Royal author and historian Andrew Lownie shared that Harry’s memoir could be a step too far for the Monarchy, especially after his months of whining. “I think given the fact that he’s doing his tell-all book, I would have thought that’s the final straw for them,” he opined.

Harry and Meghan’s exit has seen the pair leave behind the Queen’s well-known “never complain, never explain” mantra. The quote is said to be used by the Queen to advise members of the royal family on how they should deal with bad press.

By contrast, Meghan and Harry have repeatedly spoken out about their time in the royal family, most notably during their 2-hour sit-down with Oprah Winfrey.

Royal Writer Convinced That There’s No Way Back For Harry

Mr. Lownie consulted history when he insisted that there’s no more going back for Prince Harry. According to the royal historian, based on what happened to the Queen’s uncle and former King Edward VIII, there’s no return for people close in the line of succession who leave their royal duties.

Mr. Lownie discussed his new book, “Traitor King: The Scandalous Exile of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor”, which explored the controversies Edward became involved in after he abdicated the throne.

In relation to what’s currently happening with Harry, he added: “The lesson was that if you leave the Royal Family you are going to be completely shut out and frozen and it’s not a good move.”

“There are people who have stepped down from royal duties. We’ve some more minor figures like the Duchess of Kent and people like that.”

He continued: “But I think the lesson is that once you’re out, you’re out and you can’t do anything, you will not be part of the family again.”

“They are pretty ruthless like that, and I think that’s a lesson for Harry, that he can’t be half in and half out.”
“Frankly, the more he goes on like this, he’s not going to win against institutional monarchy.”
“They’ve left the doors open for them, but I think as time goes on it becomes more difficult as things are said.”

In 1951, Edward published his own memoir, in which he told of his “lonely” time as king. He also used the writing to launch a handful of scathing attacks at the then-Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin.
