Royal Family News: Doria Ragland Never Wanted Her Grandson Archie To Become A Prince

Doria RaglandBritish Royal family news with all of this talk on whether or not Prince Harry, Duke Of Sussex and Meghan Markle’s son Archie should be made a prince, there was one person in the background that just wanted what was best for him: his grandmother, Doria Ragland. As a matter of fact, there’s a new report that says Doria “never put pressure” on Meghan to quit the royal family, but at the same time all she wanted was a normal upbringing for Archie. Here’s what you need to know.

Doria Ragland Never Wanted Her Grandson Archie To Become A Prince

While Meghan Markle told Oprah Winfrey that she wanted her son Archie to have a title, just so he could have the same royal protection and security that other members monarchy get to have, her mother Doria was a little skeptical. That’s because she would rather see her one and only grandson grow up in a ‘normal’ setting rather than a hectic, stressful royal one. Doria perhaps knew that the pressure of living behind closed palace doors wouldn’t be healthy for anyone.

When insider close to the situation told Express.co.uk, “As she raised Meghan to stand strong in her beliefs, [Doria is] thrilled that Archie, too, will be able to grow up having the freedom to make his own decisions in life, which would not have been possible if Harry and Meghan had stayed in the Royal Family. She feels that it’s healthier for Archie to have a normal upbringing.”

And while Doria was certainly happy to hear that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would be moving much closer to her in Meghan’s native Los Angeles, they haven’t been able to spend time as a family because of the ongoing pandemic that has been the coronavirus.

The tipster added, “While Doria never put pressure on Meghan to leave the Royal Family, she’s over-the-moon to have Archie closer to home. She can’t wait to spend more time with her grandson and get to know him properly, once the pandemic is over.”

WOW! Who knew that Ragland has THAT much power in The Royal Family to decided if you get a Title or not.
Did The Queen ask Carole Middleton if it was OK if HER Grandchildren have Titles?
PS.. Archie is NOT entitled to be a Prince. He'll be a Duke. Nothing more, nothing less
      Duke of Dumbledore. Period

    2. They should be part of the Royal family, without the paparazzi. They should have security, and not risk their lives, like Princess Diana.

    3. Load of bull, doria has a wing in their mansion and lives with them, so she can look after Archie. She has lived there since they bought the place

    4. I think your dirty laundry should be kept home. They both owe them respect. Would like to know what was accomplished by all this.

    5. So you think it’s ok for their children to grow up in a home without their father? Harry has a mind of his own but everybody just blames Meagan for everything.

    6. I think we should all mind our own business. I for one do not have firsthand information from her or her daughter does anyone else? Her ex husband and his children have a lot to say but does it have a solid foundation from her or her daughter or are they getting paid for ever interview they do? One would be wise to not make a rumor or a second hand account a fact.
