British royal family news divulges that a tell all book about the royals is set to drop, and it will be juicy. We’re not talking about Hollywood Harry’s threatened memoirs, set to debut in autumn, we mean to say that the Queen herself now has a hand in tell all. What gives, why is the woman who whose motto is, ‘never complain, never explain,’ cooperating with an expose?
Royal Family News – The Queen Is Cooperating
It all comes down to trust, the kind that is earned, not flung like yesterday’s garbage the way Harry has done with his grandmother. The Queen, “has given the green light to a book by her trusted stylist that will delve into how Her Majesty coped with Prince Philip’s death and the coronavirus lockdowns.”
The Daily Mail reports that the Queen’s stylist and trusted advisor for three decades, Angela Kelly, has been given permission to give her insights about, “lockdown with Her Majesty and the Duke of Edinburgh at Windsor Castle, in what became known as HMS Bubble.”
The new edition of The Other Side Of The Coin: The Queen, The Dresser And The Wardrobe, will give Kelly’s account of how the Queen, “weathered the troubles of the pandemic and coped with the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral.”
Royal Family News – The Queen Is Cooperating With A Tell All Book
Katya Shipster is publishing director of Harper Non-Fiction and she recently spilled some dish on what readers can expect. Apparently Kelly describes a humorous incident in which she cut the Queen’s hair in lockdown. She said, “It tells the story of the royal bubble as well as the lengths Angela and the royal household went to, to ensure the safety of the monarch.”
Sadly that safety did not extend forever, as the queen came down with Covid in February of this year. The 95-year old queen recently said that the after effects are “exhausting.”

Royal Family News -Readers Will Have A Revised Edition To Comb Through
Kelly and the queen are so close that, “she has written two books with the Queen’s approval and lives in a grace-and-favour home in the grounds of Windsor Castle. The Queen has been spotted ‘nipping in for tea.’”
Kelly has said of the friendship, “We are two typical women. We discuss clothes, make-up, jewelry.”
She first published The Other Side Of The Coin: The Queen, The Dresser And The Wardrobe in 2019 and the revised edition will come in time for the June celebration of the queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
