Sister Wives fans are counting down the big day that Christine Brown and David Woolley’s wedding special airs on TLC. Sunday January 7th and 14th can’t come soon enough! As predicted, Kody Brown is losing his mind over the wedding special, but probably not for the reasons that you think. Keep reading for all the details and Sister Wives wedding spoilers.
Kody Brown is reportedly furious over TLC’s big wedding announcement and press release for the two episode series. But, it’s not because his former wife is marrying a new man on national television. Kody seems unbothered by the fact that Christine Brown is moving on, after all now he can spend time with Robyn without all those other pesky wives getting in the way. But, he’s not too happy about her reality TV paycheck leaving with her.
Sister Wives Spoilers – Christine Brown’s Big Day
After Kody’s wives left, he and Robyn Brown dissolved the Family LLC and started their own with just them and their kids.
That led fans to believe that Sister Wives was no longer paying the family a lump sum for their episodes, and was now divvying them up individually between the cast.
When Kody learned there was a wedding special coming, he blew his top because he realized he wasn’t getting any of the paycheck for it.
Once can only imagine how much Christine Brown and David Woolley were paid to film their wedding episode for the Sister wives cameras. Most likely the entire wedding day was free, and TLC picked up the check for the venue and reception.
Christine will probably never confess how much she received as payment for the big day. One thing is for sure, it will be a ratings windfall for the network.

Regardless of how much Christine was paid, Kody Brown reportedly thinks he is entitled to it. And, the fact that TLC mentioned him multiple times in the synopsis and promos for Christine’s wedding day only further helped his case.

THE most narcissistic, self-centered, egocentric male with a God complex on any TLC series! (And that includes Ed Brown!) He had those women for 30 years… He doesn’t seem to work much for an honest day’s pay. He wants his bucks as easy as he can get it, with no actual work involved. He’s gotten all the money he’s entitled to. No matter what he thinks, it’s NOT all about him!
He didn’t want Christine. He severed his ties with her to get exclusive with Robyn. Therefore, so sorry Kody. What’s Christine’s is Christine’s. Remember way back when you once stated that the love you had was multiplied with the 3 wives. Well now the math is divided and you get zero.
Now, we all know that according to Kody, he is both the North and South poles, because the world revolves around him. The Double-G’s (Gabe and Garrison) aren’t mad at him because he would not listen to the young adults, but they are mad at him because they wanted a social life. And the Two-X’s, (J&C), of course the only stuff they have to talk about is him, because there is nothing else to ever talk about. So it follows, if Kody wasn’t the almost #1 selfish man in the world, Christine never would have left him, met David, got married, get a special, so, in Kodyland, of course he should get paid for her wedding. Face it, him and Sobyn have been living off of “The 3 Who Escaped” for a long time. From paying off her bills when she joined the family, to taking Christine’s property in exchange for the family money that was invested into her house, instead of taking her acreage and splitting it fairly, he took it for him and his “soul mate”, which once the money runs thin, he will be looking for another to support them all.
I believe Kody is just greedy. They are divorced so he should not expect anything from this new union. He is only an ex-husband. Nothing more.

Omg……The gall of this man is unbelievable. He’s been the one trashing the wives, not the other way around as he claims, says he never loved them, but yet wants a check for what they are doing with their lives.
