The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Summer Newman (Hunter King) will be kept partially in the dark about Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) dilemma. His admission about New York won’t include information about his potential fatherhood status.

It’s hard to blame Kyle for not telling Summer what Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) said in full. Kyle has no proof that he’s the father of a three-year-old boy. Taking Theo’s word for it isn’t an option, with a conclusive answer needing to be fully confirmed.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) suspected something was up when Kyle arrived in a frazzled state of mind. She was right and will surely pursue details later.

Kyle’s tell to Summer couldn’t take place in the lobby of the Grand Phoenix Hotel because that atmosphere represented too great of a risk. Plus, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) walked in and joined Phyllis at the front desk.

What happens in private may eventually provide Summer with a reason to end Skyle, but she doesn’t know that yet. If Kyle proves to actually have a child, then Summer will question why he wasn’t completely open with her. He should have divulged everything because she probably would have been supportive.

Y&R Spoilers – Sally Spectra Believes She’s Good

Sally has a false sense of security. She’s convinced that Theo’s dirt allows her to permanently neutralize Summer and Kyle. That assessment is wrong.

Kyle initiated a conversation with Summer where he told her about the New York connection. If he follows through in the near future, with news about the boy that might be his child, then Sally will have no leverage on Skyle. But the timing of Kyle’s full disclosure will prove crucial in this regard.

Theo claims that he happened to run into Kyle’s former love interest. Johnson’s character also told Sally that he had DNA proof that the boy in question is Kyle’s.

It could be that Theo believes the child’s perceived physical resemblance represents proof. Theo may have been projecting what he wanted to be true, or was outright lying and has no proof that Kyle is a father.

Like Kyle, Sally knows Theo from the past. So, her eagerness to accept all that Theo said represents a choice to believe her troubles have been neutralized.
