Young And The Restless Spoilers: Dear Sally Spectra … Why Does Nick Newman Get A Pass?

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that both Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will continue to grieve the loss of their baby girl. Unfortunately, Adam had a decision presented to him that no one should have to make, and he chose to save Sally’s life and not his daughter’s.

What’s even more unfortunate is that Spectra lashed out at Adam for his decision when she came to. Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) strolled in after the fact and was given a hero’s welcome.

In all fairness, while Sally’s words to Adam were unfair, she also just woke up from surgery and was given the shock of her life. Still, when she comes to her senses, she may realize she was quite harsh on her baby’s father.

After all, he’s mourning, as well. To accuse him that the reason why he saved her was to unburden himself from the responsibility of being a single father was extremely harsh. But perhaps what hurt the most was seeing Spectra read Adam the riot act, and watch Nick saunter in, after being MIA for days, only for Sally to give him love. It seemed unjust on all levels. Adam was the one who was stuck by her side this entire time; Adam is grieving the loss of their daughter, too.

Y&R Spoilers – Nick Newman Didn’t Do Anything Wrong, But Why Did He Get Her Softer Side?

While Nick didn’t do anything “wrong” by being away, it was a slap in the face for Adam to get Spectra’s worst side, only for his brother to get the best. Why is Nick getting a pass in all this? Is it “new relationship” courtesies? Is it because she feels more comfortable with Adam that she’s showing him her raw emotion, while Nick gets to be her comforter because their romance is so fresh? Regardless, at some point, Sally does owe Adam an apology. She may even want to reach out, so they both can be a source of support to each other.
