Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Victoria Backs Cane – Done With Billy?

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) lives are out of sorts on ‘The Young and the Restless’. That’s one reason why she’s backing Mr. Ashby over Billy (Jason Thompson). Of course, the other involves a kiss.
Actually, Vickie and Cane have kissed on more than one occasion, as she recently admitted to Billy. After catching the potential ‘Vane’ smooching on Vickie’s living room couch, Billy was naturally stunned.
Mr. Abbott tried to rationalize the situation as a defensive reaction to Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) having purposely told Vickie, in front of Billy at the Genoa City Athletic Club, that Miss Newman was a second choice. That info drop wasn’t accurate, but hit the intended emotional target.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Did Billy Cross A Line
Vickie now knows what Billy did. His going to Lakewood Correctional Facility to tattle on Cane was vindictive, more like what Phyllis just recently did, than a truly virtuous act. And to Billy’s surprise, Vickie backs Cane on this plot point.
The likelihood of ‘Villy’ getting back together now seems faint. While this often-time couple clearly had a good shot at finding a new path to renewed love, recent events and Vickie’s apparent, actual feelings for Cane appears to doom whatever she was open to (past tense) with the real love of her life.
Billy can’t win for losing, as this time around he really did do everything right, until he Jabot jetted to Lakewood. He was fully supportive of Vickie in recent months, which helped to stabilize her life during the midst of the J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) horror show, that’s crossed nine months running.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Feels Sorry For Billy
Cane is now in the position of the victim, which makes him sympathetic in Vickie’s eyes. Billy, he’s the goat, again. Somehow Thompson’s character always manages to be pigeon-holed in that slot, which does indicate that Vickie’s feelings for him are not fully respectful.

If the latest attempt to revive ‘Villy’ is truly over, then the real possibility of ‘Vane’ being a reality must be considered. What was once impossible is now at least plausible in Genoa City.

I sure hope not. Cane really has no right to be mad at Billy bcuz Cane is lusting for Victoria. The old saying is – What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. BOTH are wrong.

No to Victoria and cane…they would make a terrible couple…I have been watching this program since day 1..very first time it came on. Please let Billy and Victoria get back together and get rid of Phyllis daughter…I don’t like her.
No that’s just disrespectful
The fact that they despised each other while he was working at Brash n Sassy means they might be in lust, but they are never going to “love” each other. The match is just not believable. Cane, you are a bum for not standing by Lily.
